Today is the day!
The Maryland primaries are today and for the first time I find myself fully charged to get out there and cast my vote.
I've got to say that I'm excited to see so many people excited about voting. The more I talk to people the more there getting involved. People are finally fed up and the enemy of action being complacency is dying a slow death. The only true sadness in that is how long it took for people to snap to attention and take action. Is it only when it personally affects us that we care as a nation?
Might be... but from this point on I'm going to make it a point to stay involved and cast my vote...

Ron Paul 2008
I recently had a chance to attend an Obama rally or event (whichever the correct terminology would be) and had the oppurtunity to actually speak on camera as a supporter of an opposing candidate.
The truth is that I'm a whole hearted supporter of the Ron Paul campaign. There is a multitude of reasons for this, many of which are obvious and on the surface but others that kind of define why I feel he's a different type of candidate. I think that it's disheartening for people to talk about his electability as a presidential candidate because he's willing to commit and show a clear patht to economic restructure in our failing economy.
I've yet to see another candidate show me any definitive CONCEPTS for how we move forward with stopping the onset of a recession other than boasting tax breaks on the front end of small, miniscul amounts to the middle class and then making it up in other areas of their campaign literature which in fact will lead to even additional pay outs by tax payers.
As the federal government becomes larger and larger we become more dependant on it for our survival. Between federal and state taxes small businesses and W-2 employees continually become encumbered and the cash cow that is the government is forced to create new contracting oppurtunities to keep the economy afloat. Of course this is in light of numerous other attempts like the endless printing of money that seemingly has no end (hence the depreciating value of our dollar in a global economy).
I'm open to opinion and I'd like to hear what others have to say in a way that we can revitalize our economy by promoting private industry commerce. It's my genuine opinion with radical moves like abolishing the IRS or severely decreasing federal income tax we can truely encourage business to business relationships that allow for services to be valued at what there actually worth.

Back for the first time!
So after a long time away from never posting on a blog that I created ions ago I've returned. I've resolved to keep this updated and to really get involved with the online community as I should have been doing this entire time.
I'm calling it a late new years resolution... we will see how it goes.
